Stamp Club starting in January

Our Stamp Club will be starting back up in January. We have moved the date to the first Thursday of the month. Our meeting will be on Thursday, January 6th at 7:00 at my house. We will be making cute birthday items. We have a wonderful group of ladies and would love to have a few more members. Our club is held once a month and each member is required to spend $25.00 out of the Stampin' Up catalogs. Each month we make one card and one other project. Our meeting usually last an hour to an hour and a half. Each member gets a chance to be the hostess and earn free stamp money and free stamp sets. The Hostess has the choice of holding the class at her house or mine and provides the refreshments. Please let me know if you are interested or have any questions. You are welcome to come to one of our meetings and try it out. Thank you!

September Stamp Club

Our theme for September was back-to-school. We made this cute card. We were able to use the blender pens and chalk for this watercolor effect. The girls thought that it was fun! we also made a little note pad holder of a bookworm using the same effect. Then we finished off with a Christmas note pad as well! These would be great as teacher gifts, friend gifts, or stocking stuffers.

Summer Updates

Good bye to summer--hello fall. I have had a difficult time keeping up with my blog this summer. Part of the problem is that I am still learning how to scan in my cards and set up the blog--so I have to have Neal or Emily help me. Hopefully, I will be able to do a better job. I am going to post some cards and projects that we made in our stamp club this summer. I hope that
you like them!

Above are two 3x3 cards. I love
making these little cards. They
are fast and quick and so cute.

The little gift bag is also fast and
quick. Great for a little gift or treat.

Hurray for 2010!!

I am so excited for the New Year! I have been planning classes and workshops ideas throughout the holiday break. I would like to start a monthly card club. Members would come to the class each month where we would make two to three projects. Then each member would buy $25.00 worth of merchandise out of the catalog. Each member would have a chance of being the hostess, where they would be able to earn free products! Right now I have four people who are interested. I at least need seven to get started. I would love to have 10-12 members. If you are interested or know someone who loves to make cards or scrapbook, please let me know ASAP!

Our first class will be making Valentine projects. A new mini catalog just came out and has super-cute ideas. If I can get enough members, I would like to start the class on Thursday, January 28th. I will be posting pictures of our projects soon!
